Can't log into my gateway router

i have tried http://192.168.0.1 and http://192.168.1.1 and yah i can't seem to figure out which ip is my router. I need to disable the wireless cuse i don't use it...and don't feel like giving it to my neiboors. any help

It might not be either one of those.

Do an "ipconfig /all" at a command prompt and look for "Default Gateway".

What model router is this?

Are you on DSL or cable?

when i do ipconfig /all in the run it just pops up for a split second and goes away. i'm on cable. running xp pro

go to start -> run
type "cmd"
enter
type "ipconfig /all"

nog read what the gateway is, that is your router

this should do the trick

sweet got into it. asked for a password and just assumed admin admin and it worked. thanks
