Okay, here's the story. I decided to play arround with linux on my spare box. And now I need to use windows XP Again, so I did the "fixmbr" command in the recovery console (didn't dual boot) and it see's the windows partition. But It says the boot file (or something like that) is invalid and it isn't NTFS. I looked in ranish and this partition is set to the "boot" partiton. Windows sees it as "C" but when I "dir" in the recovery console it locks up. And knoppix can see the partition but can't read it either.

What should I do? Should I just say screw it and wipe that partition and start over.
