I'm having a difficult time with this. I have an SMC barricade router with both fowarding ports set to 80. I tried using tinyweb and lil'http and neither work. Computers on the network can see it but no one else. I'm thinking somethings wrong with the router but I can figure it out
PS win98se

Have you done anything with DNS?

DNS is used to resolve names (microsoft.com) to IP's (208.153.39.93 (PS: not actual IP)).

How are you accessing your web site? I would assume via IP?

Most likely your ISP is blocking outgoing port 80 traffic. Try changing the port to like 8080 or something and then see what happens.

well i tried 234 and that still didnt work, but I have an ftp on 21 I just think it would be kinda weird to block 80 and not 21 but ill try 8080

My ISP, Cox, started blocking port 80 quite a while ago. They allow port 21 though. If port 8080 doesn't allow remote users to access your server, but you can access it locally then its likely a router port forwarding issue.
