I cant get my G.Skill HZ ddr 500 to be stable at 260. I heard this ram is good at ocing but i cant seem to get it stable at 260, even with 2.8 volts. I would get BSOD, and fail prime ram tests, so i decided to put a divider, i knew it was the ram all along, i just thought that it would be able to run at 260, since i hear it can. Anyone got any ideas? I am running a divider right now and it is stable, so... help? :p

you did mess with the timings, right?

i've also heard of tweaking the northbridge voltage for extra juice or something...but what kind of chips does it use? my g.skill sticks have TCCD, which isn't exactly voltage hungry..

I dont think messing with the chipset voltage is an option with the Asus A8N-Sli deluxe. I know my problems are memory related. Mine timings are set 3-4-4-8 (stock), what do you think i should mess with? I AM not a ram expert, so i do not know.

I mean loosen/relax the timings...but i'm not sure if those get any loose-er.

Timings are related to frequency...you can read, but it's optional as it's kind of heavy. :p
