Alright [H], heres the dilemma. I'm looking to build a gaming rig, I like my current setup and all that but obviously its just not kicking it expecially to what I am wanting it to be.

So since in the Video card thread, I currently have an 8800 Ultra, and have it overclocked slightly which core clock is 660 shader 1630 mem clock 1080 and its On water.

I am wondering what would be a good card to jump too. Or is it even worth upgrading right now?

I was thinking of the EVGA E-GEFORCE GTX 285
or the HD4870 or 4890

Games I will be playing, Street fighter 4, starcraft 2, and Looking at Crysis, havn't played that yet. soo help me out, im just getting back into the game of things.

Thanks a lot :)

whats the rest of your rig? if its in you sig its not comiing up on my screen for some reason.

obo : Asus P5KDeluxe 0404 bios
Ram : OCZ Reapers pc8500 2gb
CPU : E6850 @ 3.8ghz 1.5v Water 60c load 40c idle
GPU: Evga 8800Ultra overclocked to 660 / 1080
HD: 1x 74gb Raptor 10000rpm + 1 x 250gb 7200rpm CAV
Speakers : Logitech Z5500 + Sennheiser 485's

Thinking about upgrading computer. I just bought 2x2gb OCZ low volt pc 8500's today.
so that will be arriving.

Also thinking of upgrading mobo and cpu. Might not jump the i7 train just yet.
But might get the q9550 along with the gigabyte ep45-ud3p

i love my socket 775 quad. i do want to get onto the i7 train though close to when windows 7 comes out. so new cpu ...motherboard not a bad idea. why not do i7 now ? how much is the q9550 compared to the i7920? if i7 not much more go with that. <shrug>
