Anytime I try and add a public folder in Exchange 2003 SP1 on Server 2003 I get a c1030af0 error talking about my HTTP headers and virtual server. I have 4 virtual servers running on my server, the first being the default and one with OWA etc on it. Also when I log into OWA and go to the public folder it opens a new browser pointing to /public and displays the public folder DIR with Internet group below it. When I click on Internet group it gives a 404. I would really like to solve this so I can use it.

Sounds like a host header issue... quick xchange MS/KB search
I would investigate your host header setup on the default w3site on IIS... ?

Fixed the problem, had to add a host header for the computers name and now it works fine.
