I bought a year sub just over a year ago, which was great. So after that expired, I decided to go for the Lifetime sub, so I signed up for that and paid the $15, except GenMay hasn't shown back up on my listing of the forums yet. So.. how long do I have to wait for it to kick in, or was there an error somewhere along the line?

I have the receipt for payment on Paypal if it's needed.
 
It's automatic on our end, but glitches have been known to happen. I'm seeing your sub was made yesterday and all looks normal (no "failure" flag).

It all depends on how long it takes paypal to kick in. If the funds are being drawn thru a linked bank acct, I believe it can take several days. If that's not the case and it doesn't go thru by tomorrow, forward your paypal receipt to kyle@hardocp.com and put something about "Genmay subscription issue" in the subject line.
