i own one and i am very unsatisfied with the focus this camera produces. i am unable to take any real good photos. is it because of my settings or is it the camera
 
Prefocus (aka 1/2 press) until the green box comes up. Then hold your hand still and snap the picture.

If you cant hold your hands still enough, brace the camera against your face and look through the viewfider.

Before I said any of that I should have told you to post a full-sized sample shot with EXIF as that's the fastest way we can determine the cause of a blurry photo be it the equipment or user.
