From a plug & play install, it turned out to be a frustration.
I have vista and tried to get the Canon scanner installed.
In "device manager" it showed that the driver is installed but under "general" tab there is none.
Naturally it could not communicate with the scanner.
I have installed & uninstalled software/driver with and without the scanner attached.
Can somebody help please? Thanks.
PS: This was to replace an HP Scanjet that would not work under vista.
