Definitely out of most people's price range, but it doesn't hurt to gawk over stuffPersonally I'm hoping to see a 10D upgrade then maybe I'll think about getting that after prices drop a bit.
Lets wait for some images from it before we get all happy in the pants.Originally posted by btb103
I'm much more excited about the D70, looks like it's going to be a sweet ass camera, and has changed my view completely. I'll probably buy it instead of a 10D in several months.

I would get that over the 1Ds, its aimed at a different buyer. The 1Ds is great for studio work and weddings and stuff like that. The 1D is the best for sports and photojournalism you can get.Originally posted by WaRpEdMiNdS
If you are going to pay into the thousands for a digital SLR why not just go the whole hog and get the 1Ds? And for the D70, well I'll hold my tounge until the full reviews come in but it just looks like a competitor for the 300D with a few more gizmos. Plastic=nasty.
10D/D100 are by far the best mid-range DSLRs out there!
Ummm, think before you speak much? There's a pretty big difference between $4500 and $8000 (MSRP prices). You could get a 1D MkII, 24-70mm f2.8L, 70-200mm f2.8L, and 300mm f4L IS for the price of the 1Ds body alone. It's like saying "Shit you are buying a $20K Honda, might as well buy a $35K Acura."Originally posted by WaRpEdMiNdS
