Well I got a mobile barton a few weeks ago and I have been messing around with it and seeing what speeds I could get out of it. First thing I tryed was boosting the FSB and kick down the multiplyer. For some reason at like 230FSB and 10 multi the processor does not want to POST. I though it might be the memory (which I did memtest at stock speeds and it ran fine, even ran fine at some OCing speeds) but for some reason when I go over lets say 205FSB it does not pass prime. I used to have the XMS C2PT and now I have the XMS XL ram. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
 
I would start messin w/ RAM timings .... if ur using the boards default that might be y .... as i remember from dealing w/ my friends and my old nForce boards the default RAM timings sux
 
The NF7's have trouble getting high FSB overclocks. 230 is, as far as I know, fairly high for the board. There are some possible solutions, you could try going to Abit's website and reading the forums...this problem is discussed in exhaustive length there.
