ok i have a KD-1731 that has a few problems with the front buttons so i cant turn my brightness up...

i left the monitor unpluged for a month or so and tryed it again and it worked i cant find a reset pretty sure it doesnt have one

is there maybe a battery inside i can take out for a min?

I'd really be careful messing around inside a CRT...there are EXTREMELY high voltage caps in there. Please don't hurt yourself.
