Can i delete partitions in vista Ultimate and return the HD to stock?

installed my wk640 and no longer need my 250g i had for storage, i would like to delete all partitions on it and bring it back to stock.

Instead of the throwing the vista disk in and waiting for the runaround to do it manually that way is there anyway i can do it in vista? It seems as if i can shrink the volumes but not delete them all to make one,

As long as it's not the system partition, the Disk Management snap-in (via Computer Management) should let you delete all the volumes on the drive, then make a new partition on the empty drive.

If it is truly just a storage disk, you should be able to delete the partition from the Disk Management. However, if this disk is something you'd give away or sell, you will want to use something more secure, such as DBAN.
