Calculate your Points Per Day

You may have noticed that, from time to time, a Project does not give you a PPD number in your monitoring program. (FAHMON or FAHSPY).

This is due to the Work Unit database not listing the project correctly.

If you would like to know how to calculate your PPD on a WU here is how, using excel.

Open a New Excel Spreadsheet.

1st) Format Cells A3 , A5, & A7 to h:mm:ss format.

A3, input you time average time per frame. [ Example 0:02:36 ]
A4, input the frame count of the WU [ Example 100 ]
A5, input the formula =PRODUCT(A3,A4)

A7, input 24:00:00 (Excel will display this as 0:00:00 but that is okay)
A8, input the formula =A7/A5

A10 , input the point value for the WU [ Example 500 ]

A12, input the formula =PRODUCT(A10,A8)

And Now you have your PPD for that Work Unit.
