Cachecade for hyper-v

I am going to make a media server running sickbeard and plex and maybe some other services. I might want to play around a bit with hyper-v in 2012r2 would cachecade be worth the 1k investment or should I just go for 2 more spindles instead? Would cachecade make a noticeable difference for guest os performance on media related processing (ie transcoding, unziping, ect)?
 
Only for processes that are heavy on hard disk activity. Transcoding and compression/decompression are typically more Proc-heavy and therefore most likely unaffected by the SSD in the loop. That being said general Guest OS performance will be enhanced due to increased random read/write speed of cached data.
