bypass welcome screen in xp

i can't remeber how to make XP automatically log into a user account and bypass the welcome screen..

can anyone help me?

Click Start, click Run, and type control userpasswords2. This is a shortcut instead of having to click on Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts.
Uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" check box.
Click Apply.
Enter the user name and password you wish to automatically log on with, and then click OK.
Click OK again and you're all done.
 
ok.. i will try that..

the "users must enter username and password to login" box is not there.. i know it shows up in 2000.. the comptuer is using xp pro.. i jsut coulnd't find it..
