I have always used CRT's on my computers but now i am finally going to give LCD a try, i am looking for a 17 to 19 inch moniter to replace the puny 15inch i currently have running on my linux box. If i like this moniter i will probably get another to replace my current CRT on my main Rig. I watch alot of movies on my linux box and do some graphics work, i do play some games but not a lot since i have a faster windows box for that. I have heard good things about dell and Benq but there are so many models, My friend has a BenQ 937S, i live in canada and i found this:

and i was wondering if there was a real difference between the S and the non S, i have also seen D versions of this moniter, but they are alot more money for some reason.

So what can you guys suggest to me?
 
well ive been looking at the Benq 937s so far, went and looked at one today, seemed to have a real nice image. Might get that one i guess. Also looked at a few Samsungs and a Benq 737.What do you guys think og the 937s?
