Hey guys,
Hope you can help me with this - I'm helping someone fix their computer tomorrow, and I'm not sure I have a solution.

He's trying to burn a CD using the default XP interface, and though he copies files to the folder, it doesn't pop up the widget in the tray that asks him to burn to CD, and thus he can't burn it.

So, any suggestions? He's got meetings and such tomorrow, so he wants to try to resolve this over the phone. Even a way to make the widget show manually would be okay. If this were Linux I'd be home free, but Windows isn't my bag

Thanks in advance!

Not sure how to bring the bubble back, but this is another way round it...

When you click them as 'write to CD', if you then go in to My computer > drive letter of your CD-writer 'write these items to CD' is one of the friendly links in the menu on the left.

Standby and I'll try and grab a screenie...

[edit] - top menu item on the left :) - HTH
