Bulgin Switch Led's

So I purchased a few Ring Light Bulgin anti-vandal switches. I see alot of threads on different boards talking about burning out the LED with over voltage. Do I need to use a resistor with the LED from the switch plugged into the Power/HD Led on the motherboard? I was under the impression that most leds run at 3-3.3 volts and that these are rated for 3.4 volts. Don't the motherboard led headers output the proper voltage for Led's to run without resistors?
 
Should be fine. The resistors are built onto the motherboard, and if the LED has a similar rating, no problem.

Resistors need to be added when you're trying to power one normally from for instance +5V.
