Building a new computer...

Alright, well I already have some parts in my system right now...but this is what I want my computer to be:

Athlon 64 2800+
MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R
1 gig Kingston DDR400 PC3200
9600 XT 128mb
Fortron Source 400W Power Supply

Will this be sufficent enough for some nice smooth gaming? Im a little worried about the Athlon 2800+ because I dont have the money for a 3000+ or 3200+, will this be good enough? Any suggestions on anything else? I already have the ram and video card...I may get a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 later on, but for now ill use the onboard sound for my 5.1 speakers...Will the power supply be large enough to handle everything? Im not really sure how much the Athlon 64 takes.

if you're going to have a 64 in it then I would at least put a ati 9800 in it, 9600 doesn't exactly inpire smooth these days

also want to look into some cooling... games make systems hot..

I should be fine on cooling, right now I have 2 intake and 2 outake fans and my case never goes over 35 C (with an Athlon XP 1600+ which is usually at aobut 40 C) And yea I know my 9600 isnt the best...but it'll have to do for now until I can get some more $$$

Your PSU should be fine. Fortron Source is a decent brand, and 400W is more than you'll need. Hell, you should be able to run all of the above - 9600 + 6800U on that PSU.
The 2800+ will do just fine for anything out or coming out in the near future. The thing that'll bottleneck you is the vid card. Looks good to me. The other thing I'd consider is getting a mobile Athlon XP & nforce2 mobo instead and overclocking the snot out of it. A lot of 'em do 2.4-2.5 GHz easy for <$100. Might get you more speed for less, but you'd have a lot fewer CPU upgrade possibilites w/o a new mobo.
