Well, a few weeks ago, I did a PC build, and it's been giving me little bits of trouble every now and then. The whole thing feels a little off, and it's frankly annoying. Here are my specs:

1. Biostar TZ68K+ Motherboard
2. Intel Core i3 2100 w/stock fan and cooler
3. 4GB G.Skill RAM (2x2GB)
4. HIS Radeon HD 7750 1GB
5. Samsung SSD 64GB
6. Onboard Sound and Network
7. Netgear Wireless antenna (Windows 7 has a driver for this, apparently).
8. Enermax 520W power supply.

Here are my symptoms:

1. Can't seem to get Motherboard to go into AHCI mode, even after installing Windows 7 with AHCI enabled.

2. Sometimes, my wireless antenna isn't detected. Windows 7 will not even see it as hardware that even exists. Right now, actually, it failed to detect it when I started it up. Quite annoying.

3. It never seems to handle sleep mode all that well. It always crashes and Windows 7 gives an error stating that it did not start properly.

4. Rarely, but it's happened twice now - it randomly crashes. The whole hardware just locks up and I must turn the computer off and on again. When Windows 7 comes up - not a mention of it. I should note that after the second crash, Windows did not see my wireless card.

My suspicions are that the motherboard might be bad. What are your thoughts?
 
Well it seems that it's either a motherboard or PSU problem. Switching them out will help narrow down the issue.
 
Alright - I'll see if I can find anyone with a PSU that I can borrow. Thanks... I'll report back when I do. :)
 
Bump for anyone who cares.

I found the culprit of the problem. It was, in fact, the wireless card. I tried my buddies wireless card alongside mine. I restarted the PC many times, and within those times, my card wasn't detected twice, while my buddy's wireless card worked just fine. Thanks for the help guys.

And the AHCI was user error - go figure. :)
