So here it is guys, my idea for a great budget media pc. You know how we all talk about super budget computers for strictly web and office purposes? Well I wanted to go about making a pci e based budget computer that would be in the same price range as most cheap office computers but would still be able to handle some modest games ( like final fantasy eleven). I don't think that the x300 will be able to pull off any bragging rights on games like half life 2 but i DO think it could smoke any of the intergrated video shit that everyone is trying to sell consumers these days.

I chose::

Motherboard:K8N NEO3-F

Processor:AMD Sempron 2800

harddisk:80 gig WD

CD/RW DVD/ROM : Aopen cd/dvd/rom

Memory : 512 pc 3200 corsair

Video Card : Sapphire x300

as well you should have doubts about the cpu cooler...thermaltake is crap. Also since this is a budget computer, why get a 3rd party cooler anyways? The boxed hsf should be just fine.

Whoa shit, I didn't see that the processor came with a boxed cpu cooler. Thanks.

the board doesn't technically have an agp slot
Get a 6200 128mb card, they overclock like no tomorrow.
Or if you want to spend a tiny bit more a regular 6600.
