Putting together a budget gaming desktop for less than $500. I'm looking for suggestions although I will use the Desktop Reviews "best desktop you can build for $X" as a basis.

I fly home every 8 months from college so I need a reasonably compact machine that I can fit in a big suitcase entirely or unscrew and fit in a suitcase along with the components wrapped in bubble wrap. (computer parts > clothes)

Looks like a mostly solid rig. However I'd like to point out that the power supplies that are included with the cases you linked are not what I would trust my computer with. I'd go with better makes such as PC Power & Cooling's silencer, Corsair, Seasonic or even antec.

Also, I noticed that you wanted a "small" computer to take along with you to home and back to collage. I think you would be better served with a MATX case and motherboard combo.

How does the BIOSTAR G31E-M7 motherboard compare to the GIGABYTE GA-EG45M-UD2H ? I like the Biostar because it's half the price.
 
Intel's current 5 and 6 series penitums aren't as good as AMD current Athlon2 CPU.
