system specs below
i got cpu running at 1.6volts (overvolts to 1.66-1.80 or undervolts to 1.56, depends)
ram is running at a 5:4 ratio, effective 200mhz, 2.85volts

if i run 1 instance of prime, it goes fine and nothing happens
when i play games also nothing happens and everything runs fine

so now, i decided to run 2 instances of prime95, i did so. ran for im estimating 10 minutes or less and when i came back (within 20 minutes) i see a BSOD with an IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL error

question is as follows:
would the ram or the cpu cause a problem like this?
only other time ive gotten this error was on my amd system when i lowered timings too much.
also, before i bumped up my memory voltage to 2.85, i would get booted out of games to the desktop, but every other program (basic windows/office stuff) would run fine

thanks.

sounds like you have a problem. run memtest86 with your settings for 6 cycles and then tell us how it is.

ive run memtest86 before, didnt come out with any problems though. ran one of the modules alone, then when i got both modules together i again ran it, no errors either time.

then its either you are over the max of your proc, or theres something wrong with windows

im thinking i can try bumping the voltage on the cpu and trying again, might as well i suppose.
im only at 250fsb, which is about standard for these chips.
problem is the board undervolts at times, not sure if that could be it.
ill see what i can do i guess, thx for replies.

problem solved
you were right kronchev, i decided to rerun memtest86, i got 1 pass about over 5000 errors, so i just exited (it was like 10 minutes or less)

so im emailing them now and having them send me new memory

thx again
