Soooo I come home from work at about 3pm today, and check my temps, expecting them to be a little high since I leave my GPU and CPU folding all day.

I found that I was rocking 59degC on my gtx570, and 46degC on my C2Q 9550 @ 3.83.

Something must be wrong... they must be between work units or not at 100% load...

Then the realization that my room is an icebox hits me. The heater died while I was at work. Ambient in my room is around 3degC! I love winter.
 
Regular stock cooler on the gtx570. H70 on the 9550. Usually after folding for 24 hours, temps will be in the 70-75 range on the gtx570 and high 60s on the 9550 for references sake. Main purpose of the post is that it's omfg cold outside and my computer is damn happy about it.
 
Yup, I used to bundle up and then open my den windows during winter all for the sake of lower temperatures. I was younger then.... and maybe a little more dedicated.

Haha, I would put my feet on my external hard drives to use them as foot warmers.
 
That's why whenever it is cold outside, I use my computer as a space heater :D
 
Remind me of these days when my CPU ran on fullload at 32 degrees. =)
It's spring now,what a shame.
 
For me, it would be three things. Snowboarding, chance to get high overclocks, and the fact that I hate the heat :D
