Do I want to get a panel with both of these values higher or lower (or one of each)? Same response time in both panels, just differences in the brightness and contrast.

Might be easier to just go see with your own eyes since the actual specs mean very little.
 
Yea I have found all lcd specs to be pretty much a waste of space, only realy way to tell which panel is better is to try them out in person, or trust the |H| forum reviews:p
