Brightness and headaches

I read where people are complaining about bright screens and headache's.. I never knew or head about this before. Is there a link here? Can someone explain it? Are bright screens bad for your eyes or anything?

I would not go so far as to say they are bad for your eyes,but certainly some are more sensitive to the brightness some screens put out.
