So I lost power sometime last night/today and it effectively shut down all my boxen. Started it all back up, no problems. However my GPU got hung on the "test protein" forever. I had to turn off the SMP client, then start the GPU client before it would get past the test. Got the SMP client up as well, but figured that was a little strange. Don't recall it ever doing that before.
 
I turned a box on this afternoon and orange sparks came from it. It seems to be working though?

I had that from my big-rig... "Omega,"

lots of really nasty smells too..... folded fine for another two weeks... then lots more sparks and almost a fire as the PSU let go....I'd check that box out thoroughly. For what it is worth, Omega had no outward indication of the failing PSU (even with the PSU dissembled)
 
PSU is brand new and no where near full load. The sparks came from the mobo but no char marks. :shrug:.
