Boot failure after disk defrag using System Mechanic

*sigh* after getting everything installed on my file server, installed System Mechanic, ran Total Care, it did a defrag of my C drive (two drives on SI Raid 0) and after reboot, I get the infamous "System Boot failure, Press enter blah blah blah" I hit enter and system comes up normally. No error messages from the controller log (it's a SI 3114). There are two other drives on it also Raid 0. I ran chkdsk, NDD, to no avail. Also everything is as it should be in Disk Management Console.

Am I down to the last resort of XP reinstall? Anyone else ever experience this with System Mechanic or any other defrag tool?

(please no grief on the RAID 0, files will be backed up to my hot swap bay once it arrives)

Disregard, I had added my USB ext. drive prior to running System Mechanic, and BIOS decided it should boot from it first rather than my HD. I have now set BIOS straight on who's in charge!
