If I want to fill in a space in the front bezel of a case with bondo to get rid of it... How do I go about doing this.. there is a lot of space that needs filling, and it'll take a massive amount to fill it up.. is there a shortcut anyone knows?

Use fiberglass resin instead. It's similar to bondo. You first put some fiberglass cloth on the hole/open area then apply the resin. It mixes the same as bondo also. The fiberglass gives it strength. Then after sanding that a bit, apply bondo to finish it up.

You might wanna make up a plastci filler plate out of an old drive cover or soemthing, then use the bondo/fiberglass filler to "weld" it in place. less filler, and it'll be MUCH stronger and lighter too.
