Bluetooth Audio HFP completely broken

Hi guys! I have a very strange problem in Windows 10 with my Bluetooth speaker/mic. When I run the speaker in Stereo A2DP mode, everything works fine. However, if I do ANYTHING with hands-free audio/voice, the sound cuts out all together.

If I open Teamspeak or literally even look at microphones in the Windows audio manager, my Bluetooth audio cuts out and then breaks down until I restart. One way I can get around this is to disable hands-free telephony altogether, but I do want to use the microphone sometimes. :(

I'm using the Broadcom BCM20702A0 chip built into my Asrock Z97E-ITX/AC if that makes any difference. Also using Windows 10.
