Been getting the blue hardware failure screen a bunch since ive installed my new video card and maxtor hd.

Formatted my new maxtor 120gb hd and put windows xp pro on it. Also got a new 9800 pro i installed. using cats 3.10. at random times i get the blue fatal hardware failure screen. My same setup worked fine with my old hd and ti4200. Anyone offer some help please!! dx9 is installed correctly and i dont have sp1, could that be the problem?

It's called a BSOD. You write down the codes on the screen and look them up on Microsoft's support site.

What Size Power Supply & Brand Do You Have ... That Also Could Be A Problem , Because The R9800 Pro Does Take More Power To Run Than A Ti4200 ...:)

Could be PSU. Make sure memory setting is set to normal instead of any advance setting. Might want to turn AGP port into 4x just to see if that would work.
