Blu ray Drive

I'm looking for a blu ray drive to go in my Corsair 500r (black). I'd like something that matches the look. Aesthetics aren't that big of a deal, but I haven't seen many drive that look good IMO. They always have a bunch of logos and stuff.

Other than that, I really just want to rip to mkv. Do I even need a burner model?

I've also considered getting an external, because I really don't need a dedicated optical drive in any machine anymore. If I bought an external it could very well be the last I ever bought. I wasn't sure if it would be worth it to find a USB 3.0 model.

I'm just looking on some input for a good drive to get or see if it really even matters and maybe which drives come with the best software.

Thanks
