Black screen when setting up WinXP on RAID 0 Array

I am trying to set up windows xp on my new WD raptors (RAID 0 array) and I keep getting a black screen after the first part of the windows xp install. My system specs are in my sig. Here's the details:

I set up the bios to boot CD, sata, hdd 0. When the screen says 'press any key to boot from CD' I press a key and the install begins. I press F6 when prompted and windows installs as usual until I get a screen where I select my sata raid drivers from the floppy disk (sil 3112). I select the partition and everything looks normal. The instal says that it is going to reboot and it does but after the 'press any key to boot from CD' the screen goes blank. Normally the windows install continues.

What is going on? I've tried this a couple times and nothing works. Your expertise would be much appreciated!

make sure your bios settings are correct for the array to boot first., normally other device,
sata raid,
 
I have the first boot device as Serial ATA. I have installed winxp on one of the drives but still have not found a solution for booting the raid 0 array
