Black Screen! HELP!

Hy guys! I'm new here.

I have a problem with my pc.:(

When I play games 15-20 min, or when I stress up my pc, over 50%, or sometimes in idle, the pc blocks and the screen goes black,my monitor led goes on stand-bye, everything block, even the caps lock, num lock buttons block, only when I reboot the pc, black screen disappear, and it's boot up normal, i have tried a lot's of thing's to solve the problem but no one worked,
I've tried to update the drivers, I have tried old drivers, update the bios,
I've test my CPU in Prime95 and no errors, Tested my memory with Memtest and no errors.
Sometimes when i test my GPU with ATI tool to scan for artifacts i get errors, yellow lines. but sometimes, not every day.
I've tested my gpu with " MemtestCL " i get errors.
I think my power supply it's the problem, I'm not sure.
The 12v line in GPU-Z it's 11.69 It's normal?

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.40GHz skt AM3
MB: MSI 870-c45 (Bios 1.F0 )

PSU: Spire Jewel Black 550W - SP-ATX-550WTB-PFC-1
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM 4GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9
HDD: Samsung 500GB SATA-II 7200 rpm 16MB SpinPoint F3
and
Samsung 160GB SATA-II 5400 rpm 8MB SpinPoint M80 [ FROM MY LAPTOP, USE FOR STORAGE]
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate X64

Temperatures:
Idle: CPU: 30 degrees
GPU:38 degrees
Full Load: CPU 58-60 degrees
GPU: 74 degrees

The power supply may be to blame, I've never even heard of that brand. It should be ample but a generic 550 could be like a quality 350watt. How old is that power supply? Have you looked into the even viewer to see if any errors are being logged?

I don't believe it's a monitor issue as you mention even the system locks up or goes black. caps lock key etc.. wouldn't be affected by a bad monitor.

Make sure you have the newest bios flashed onto your motherboard
Make sure all the in bios settings are set up correctly, e.g. primary video pcie

Try a clean install of the video drivers and make sure all of your system drivers are updated to the absolutely newest drivers.
 
+1 to it being the PSU.

11.69 v on the 12v line is not normal, do try and get a nice brand one or a higher rated no name.

(As an example i have a no name but "real" 500w psu, the 12v line is actually a bit above 12v most of the time)

The PSU is 2-3 months old.

I have the newest bios on my motherboard, all my drivers are the newest, and I have clean install of the drivers.

The 12v line stays in idle at 12.06 v, but when I use my GPU it's goes down to 11.69 v or 11.74 v

What to do?

You should not be loading your 12V line down to ~11.7. Thats a solid 300-350mV drop, which is pretty bad. I would replace the PSU (return it if you can!)- buy a brand name PSU this time and see if it makes a difference.

Solid advice OP, also if possible try and test another power supply of quality e.g. antec, enermax, silverstone, corsair, thermaltake etc.. and see if it makes a difference. If so then absolutely swap it. Not everyone has that luxury though.

You're right Lord_Exodia, "Not everyone has that luxury though'', I have to work to buy another PSU, I will try to test with another. hope for the best.

"Lost Power" hmmm bro i would think that it is self explanatory really :-(

The psu doesn't have enough strength to drive your system, so the moment that it is asked to output more than it really can, it fails, and that is what you see.
 
The kernel power critical error is logged whnever you hold the power button to shut down the system. This happens when the screen goes blank and leaves you no other options. I've gotten that error before on my setup, I was able to find out that it was when I forced the system off, and trust me when I tell you that my silverstone 1500 watt power supply is not lacking or faulty in any way.

This doesn't clearly indicate that your problem is psu related although I have had a hunch your psu is definitely suspect when your in full load, the vdroop on your +12v rail is pretty bad. What may be more relevant would be the errors listed just below the kernel power believe it or not.

Remove all 3rd party software related to the videocard. E.G. Afterburner, Radeon pro etc.. Try another psu asap.
 
I Checked the ATX Spec, and that 350mV V-drop on the 12V line IS still within spec- you can go all the way down to 11.4V and stay in spec, so its not necessarily a horrible thing. Its still not a great thing though. It just would make me nervous to see that much of a drop. Top end PSUs are gonna have a V-drop in the range of ~150mV or less, but most of those are gonna start at something closer to 12.1V, and even with max drop will still be putting out ~11.95V (from what I've seen).
That all being said, your PSU is not (from what we know thus far) going out of spec or anything, so it may not be the culprit. It still seems the most likely candidate to me, and worth trying another PSU if you can.

Removing all 3rd part software is a very good idea- I know when I first installed my second 6850, there was something odd in my installation of Afterburner, and my computer would lock up on boot (afterburner was launched automatically on startup). After uninstalling it, things ran fine. I reinstalled afterburner later, and now it works even with afterburner auto-launching on startup. Let us know what you find out:)
 
Ok guys.
I will try ASAP to change my PSU, hope that's the problem, if not I will RMA my GPU card.
I'll post what I found to my problem as soon as I find something.
