Has anyone heard of this compression or seen any information about it? All I can find is references back to the program but no comparison on file sizes etc. Has anyone used this?

I use rarlabs' rar compression, I've yet to see anything that compares to it when compressing media. However, zip files tend to be smaller when you are just compressing lots of data/text if memory serves me. Why dont you try compressing some big files and see if it can compare to .rar's?

I guess I don't do enough compression to care about size when I do do it. I only zip/rar files up so that if there are multiple ones, I can have them in one location. Because I don't care much about anything else, I use WinRAR because I've always used it and it's easy.

7zip > all
:D

Love 7zip too. I've also recently replaced the built-in zip functionality of Windows XP with this software. The time to access/compress/decompress is a huge improvement (I believe it also supports multithreading)
