I just recently purchased a Corsair 650D case for my new build am thinking about pulling out the stock fans and putting in the Spectres. Has anyone tried these fans? How do they preform compared to the stock Corsair fans?

I could be wrong, but I think I remember someone from the forums stating that the 600T case uses the oem version of the 200mm white led bitfenix spectre pros, and ppl were looking to swap them out for quieter fans. So if youre looking for something quiet, maybe the bitfenix aren’t for you. Maybe someone can chime in if my statement is false.

Quiet is not really an issue. I am just looking for fans that move alot of air and look good. Thanks for the info guys!

I guess I didn’t read your post completely. Are you taking out both the 120mm and 200mm fans?

For the 200mm, how about the Coolermaster Megaflow? People seem to be switching to those fans on their 650D based on reading the 650D thread.

For the 120mm, I’m actually on the same boat with my 650D. Debating between the AP-14 or AP-15, but I’m looking for something quiet.

I guess if quiet fans aren’t really an issue for you, maybe try out some Delta fans. They move tremendous amount of air.

er... maybe you're mixing up spectre and spectre pro. Even then, they look nothing alike..

Also, you're comparing our fluid dynamic bearings, with sleeve bearings.

Sleeved vs FDB. Take your pick.
If you're putting the CM in the front of the 650D, you're going to have to take out the hard drive cage, install the fan, and you won't be able to put back the cage. You will be able to on the other hand if you put 200mm Pro's in there.

I am going to be using the Spectre Pro LEDS for the front 200mm and the rear 140mm exhaust fan. I am going to be using a Corsair H100 for cooling and am thinking about replacing the stock fans on it with two spectres.

Shouldn't be a problem. These fans even running at 7V feel like they move more air and are quieter. The stock 200mm fans are junk on the 650D -- at 12V they sound like a tornado.

I have several Spectre fans, they are very very quiet. I fit a 230mm in the front of my 650D with little effort, I had to shave a little off of the fan frame for the side doors to fit on and that was it. For the price I can't really find any fan I would recommend more, although the 140mm does not move a lot of air compared to the 120mm.
