Be a part of the inaugural Bitcoin Convention organized and managed by Unofficial BTC!

Bitcoin merchants, exhibitors, developers, and enthusiasts from all over the world will convene in San Antonio over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend to discuss the ramifications and newest developments of the bitcoin paradigm.

Negotiations are under way to finalize contracts for space at the convention center and rooms at the adjoining hotel. Check back often for the latest developments.

Become a Supporter:

2 BTC will get you a Welcome Package once you sign in at the Exhibit Hall, including a professionally designed program, a name badge, and other gifts from advertisers and sponsors.


Become an Exhibitor:

12 BTC will get you or your company a tabletop exhibit and 10 x 10 feet of space in the Exhibit Hall for both days. If more space is required or desired, please contact us. Electrical outlets are available but not omnipresent, so please let us know what your specific needs are. Wireless internet will be provided but again, the more information you can provide regarding your specific needs, the better we can accommodate you and your presentation.

From above statement. Sounds like a BT scam for exhibitors/ supporters.

Hmm I really don't think that is the case, since it is being set up by a very reputable member of the bitcoin community, Edd from BitBrew.net. He's advertising for it everywhere he sounds pretty excited about it. There isn't too much to gain from scamming people if he has the reputation of his company on the line.

didnt some reputable people make off with a bunch of bitcoins a while ago?
 
Looks like fun. This thing needs some activity beyond forums and blogs.
 
Interesting because it's in Texas (DFW here)

Although I'm at a loss to think of what people would be exhibiting and talking about at this convention. Personally all I can see is a bunch of people sitting around saying "aww damn bit coin has crashed, wanna buy some gently used 5870's man?"
