Big Shot Gaming is hosting its 14th 160 person Fall Mega-LAN Party on November 11-13 this year at Finch Fieldhouse on the campus of CMU in Mount Pleasant, MI. Registration opened up last week ($15 prepaid, and $20 at the door) and this LAN were having a raffle for those who preregister for the event, so in addition to saving $5 on the price of admission at the door, people who preregister are entered to win a Thermalright Archon CPU Cooler. With early registration numbers coming in today, registration is up 25 percent from last years Fall LAN and on fast track to sell out all 160 seats early this year.
For those unacquainted with BSG, the group originally started in 2005 with a group of 3 Central Michigan University students with a passion for computer gaming, and an interest in bringing together people at CMU who shared like interests. 7 years, and 13 100+ man LANs later, here we are still going strong and dedicated to the cause of providing one of the best attendee rated LAN experiences in Michigan.
But back to talking about the Fall LAN coming up in November, tournament wise we left the decisions of the tournaments up to our forums and previous attendees of our LANs and heres what theyve given back to us:
TF2 - 6v6 (ESEA Rules)
SC2 - 1v1
Half-Life 2 DM - FFA (Free For All)
CS:Source - 5v5 (CEVO Rules)
LoL - 5v5
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 1v1
Halo Reach - 2v2 Team Slayer
QuakeLive - FFA

Prizes are awarded for the top 3 places in every tournament along with 2 raffles of sponsor goodies during the event. In previous years some of our sponsors for tournaments and the event have included: Riot Games, Thermaltake, Alienware, Adata, Shock Coffee, CPU Magazine, Thermalright, and several others.
