ALL FIXED...my maxtors sata 80gig are running smooth as a baby's a$$!!! hehe sorry, I am just too dang happy i got it all fixed..anyways..MAJOR props for [H]ardforum ofr linking and introducing "ultimate boot cd" to me, props for UBCD for even existing and being FREE, props for Seagate's disk utility that formated my drives in less than 5 seconds....and sucessfully....the task..windows/partition magic/norton ghost/and maxtor's wannabe utility that says it formatted the drive, but doesn't do squat.

@ first I though seagate's utility was bs...b/c it did the same thing as maxtor...formatted really fast, but it actually worked..lol...omg I am gonna have a good night's sleep tonite...after 12+ hours of trying to fix my so called dead maxtors..took less than 12 minutes with UBCD with teh included seagate's utilty...NIGHT :D
