Big problem with ID3 tags and renaming...

I need a special piece of software that will connect to the freedb database and grab the ID3 tag for the songs I have. I've looked and looked and all I could find are ones that go their and search the GENRE.

Yesterday, I was trying to clean up my ID3 tags using some program and I hit the wrong button (REMOVE ALL ID3 TAGS), and well, it did. So now, when I try to open up a song, it shows the file name, because there's not tags!

HELP PLEASE.

personally.. i have always named my mp3s like this.. artist - track (if i care) - title

then i delete the tags...


usually the mp3s are named close to that anyways, unless i decide to fire up k-lite

i use musicmatch jukebox. it has an awesome retagging feature.. alas, its not free, and that is one of the features you have to pay to get...
