I also order 1 VANTEC ICEBERQ 4 PREMIUM VGA COOLING KIT WITH BLUE LED FAN for my 9800XT and now I am looking for BGA Ramsinks.

I don't know which one of these are better.

OCZ FLOWER MINI-SINK - 4 PACK

OCZ COPPER BGA RAMSINKS - 4-PACK

TWEAKMONSTER STANDARD RAMSINKS REV.4.0 - 4 PACK

Which one of these should I pick? How can I glue them? With AS5? Will it stay on upside down?

Thank You

Well the Flower sinks are for DDR not BGA plus they are very expensive. For the minimal Mhz that you'll gain... just go with which ever is the cheapest. You need thermal adhesive to attach ramsinks. AS Epoxy or Alumina Expox work well.

I'm sure that the stock 9800XT HSF will out perform that Iceberq 4.

Yeps.. the flower wont fit on a BGA.. too long, too wide, and more then likely will have clearance issues with whats next to it.

Where are you buying these? I am interested in buying some for my ATI 9500 -> 9700 mod. I am basically looking for as cheap as possible. I know once through a link that used to be a sticky here, i found cheap heatsinks made for 9700 & 9800 cards manufactured by Alpha.

SVC.com ... set of the OCZBGA (4) will cost ya 6.99 (+shipping) and I like them better then the Chromed/Tinned Tweakmonster BGA's.

Why would you replace the huge stock HSF on the 9800XT with that little Vantec one? If you are going to do it atleast do it right and get the VGA Cooler that is for ATI. I have a feeling you are going to regret taking the stock unit off.

i agree... i'd leave the hsf alone and add ramsinks instead of replacing the stock hsf with that vantec.

I was about to say get a vga silencer but I dont think they fit XT cards. In any case I wouldnt replace the stock cooler or do sinks untill the cards warranty is up. That said, if you are set on it, I definately wouldnt replace the stock cooler with an iceberg.

The stock hsf is pretty nice, my vote also goes to the addition of ramsinks.
