how is this card? i picked it up at frys because it was a good price, but im wondering if anyone has tested it out. I currently have a radeon 9600.

It's the most popular 6800NU here. A lot of people have had success flashing it to 16 pipelines, but such "data" is useless, since all brands have an equal opportunity for unlocking. It will be a great replacement for that 9600 though.
 
I've been using one since half life 2 launched and I love it.

I can unlock mine to 16 pipes, though in my case it kills the stability with daily crashes. So, i went back to 12 pipes and the card simply kicks booty. Its a good oc'er and beast of a card. I'm very, very happy with mine.

Especially since I only paid $250 for mine on sale. At the time it was a wonderful deal.
 
Very happy with mine and you don't need to "flash" to 16-pipes, you just use RivaTuner and it is done in software not making any permanent changes to the card.
 
I have one, it works great. Great card for a great price, too. Well worth it.
 
oo, cool thnx for the info, i got it at frys for 170, and then i have a rebate for 20, so it will b about 150 total.
