Runnning:
Amd Athlon 64 3200+
Ultra x-connect 500w PSU
BFG GeForce 6800 OC
cant tell rest if needed

Now my problem:
just built brand new system bought a 6800 and installed it and fresh installed windows and then i installed the drivers. Then when i reboot it comes to the windows xp loading screen it loads and just as it would normally go to the log in screen it goes black and gives me a tiny little line in the top left corner of the screen with a couple of colors in it and then the screen goes inactive. I was running a generic psu and it would restart when it came to that point so i got the x-connect and now it doesnt restart but my monitor goes inactive and i cant do anything.

Any suggestions ??

sounds like an interesting dilemma. Do you have another system that works currently? If so try the card in that, the card might need rma'd

card seems to display fine in windows without drivers but i'll try it in my old computer tommorow and see if it works any better.
