hello all. first post etc etc. i did a few searches, but most mods seem chiefly concerned with fans, lights and cooling.. this is purely an aesthetics question:

i'm going to be putting together a system in a desktop form factor, and i'd like to include a figure in bas-relief on each end of the front bezel, but i have no idea what materials would be good for attaching to plastic, and take paint well, and yet be relatively forgiving to sculpt with. anyone got any preferred/recommended materials? are there materials that even fit that critera, or should i find a suitable pair of ebay / yardsale bookends and saw-and-glue 'em? (assuming ones with the correct "look" could be located)

I'm pretty sure Mashie uses "Milliput", I don't really know if this is what you're looking for, but it seems to suite Mashie really well.

i use hot glue for the bolck and then plastic wood for the finishing, and it works all the time for me
