local computer shops have some good deals on.... its 130$ for a Celeron 2.93ghz w/mobo or 142$ for a Sempron64 2500+(1.4ghz but will oc to 1.72ghz easy) and mobo....
i know clock cycles are key for good folding but also that the amd64's fold better then the intels.... what would you guys buy?

(both have onboard video and take DDR400 etc..., and these are canadian prices)
 
$142 seems awful high for a Sempron 2500/MB combo, unless it's a nicer budget mobo. The Fry's around here typically has that type of combo for ~$70.

 
canadian prices.... if i order from the states i get nailed with massive border fee's etc.... done it in the past...not worth it.. and yeah the motherboard was a decent Asus board for like 80$cdn and then 62$cdn for the chip....
