I am building a new comp and gonna use it for mostly gaming so i was wondering if someone could tell me the best graphic cards under $200..thanx

You can get a Radeon 9800 Pro for just under $200 if you look around a bit. Newegg has some. You can get a 9600XT for around $140 and take a performance hit, too.

9800pro 128MB.
The MSI retail from newegg has a nice bundle. Morrowind & a couple other games. It was $197 as of a couple days ago. I'd probably get that one. Or you could save like $3 and get the OEM Sapphire.

I've seen it said that the MSI cards use lower quality capacitors than the Sapphires, but I have no experience of my own to verify this.

I have, that pertains to windows 98 anyways.

I tried it yesterday with no success. This is an odd one.

Nevermind, I screwed it up yesterday.

I didn't do the register part, thanks for the link.

so is the 9800 pro gonna work with counter strike, vice city and stuff?

cause i heard that 9800 causes probs with some games...

and is it compatible with MSI pt880 Neo mobo?

I've never had any problems with my 9800 Pro in those two games.

And as long as your mobo has an AGP 4x-8x slot, you can use it.
