Being that I'll be going to school in a few weeks in the morning/afternoon and working at night, I'll need to start recording my favorite TV shows.

I was recommended AVI_IO, but I couldn't get the sound to work (works in Got TV though?), and also VirtualDub, however, I don't really know how to use VD.

At the moment, I'm using Got TV, but it doesn't record anything. I don't use ATI's software because the sound and visual aren't synched correctly. So what would be the best program to record shows from my TV Wonder?
 
Anyone?

I've already tried the software section to no avail.

Any idea as to why my sound/video doesn't work, but it does through Got TV?

I believe I've set all the options correctly...
