• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Best RAID card?

I think you need to define your parameters of usage and expected equipment better. How much do you have to spend? What RAID level? SSD's? HDD's? How many and type drives? What expected loads? How many users? Compatibility? etc, etc.

It's like asking "Which car is best?" It depends...

This will be for video editing and I plan on using 3TB Hitachi 7200RPM drives. I'm thinking Raid5 or Raid6. One user - one workstation. Windows 7 x64.

It's looking like the ARC-1880IX-12 may be the best option. Are there any comparable cards that might be better?

How many TB of editing?

The question is do you really need RAID? Do you have a backup plan since no raid level removes the need for a proper backup?
