im looking for a cooler for my H55n and i was wondering if there were any current comparisons of the best-cooling low-profile coolers. specifically the samuel 17, axp-140, and geminII s. thanks.

or just if anyone can comment on performance of these three relative to any of the low-profile coolers on this chart.

The review is okay. But i wished they actually did a review and compare. As you have to go through all of them and see what cpu brackets it has, etc. But a good starting point though.

AXP-140 > Geminii S > Samuel 17

Best > worse

The Sam17 is the smallest, and is outperformed by the Big Shuriken at about the same height (with same fans). I didn't find a direct comparison of the AXP-140 and Geminii S on a cursory search, but just based on the size and number of heatpipes + 140mm fan support of the AXP-140 I would guess it performs better (or at least quieter).

and i assume the regular shuriken is below the samuel 17? i think the big shuriken wont fit on my mobo with a video card in, but im not entirely sure. can anyone comment on that?

im getting an axp-140, and considering getting a geminii s and comparing both with my current H50 and posting the results for everyone. kinda want a samuel 17 too but just to compare and its kinda expensive for that.

I will keep a eye on the thread and see what you get and hopefully you can post some temps, etc on it then. Thanks.
